OSSD does not guarantee scholarships. The benefit of OSSD is that students can build Ontario Grade 12 U/M marks and a Canadian-style academic transcript that universities may use for admission and scholarship review along with Ontario Scholar certificate issued by Ministry of Ontario, Canada.

- Several user-suggested additions were fact-checked and adjusted to CR where the official source did not support an automatic waiver for Indian/offshore OSSD students.
